Recently, Rs. 200-crore worth Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) bonds have been listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The bonds have a 10-year tenure and offer an 8.5 percent interest per annum.
Lucknow becomes the ninth city to raise municipal bonds, incentivized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (Mohua) under Mission Amrut.
